§ 64-2. Definitions.

As used in this ordinance, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
- KNOWN PROSTITUTE OR PANDERER
- A person who has, to the knowledge of the arresting officer, been convicted of a violation of any ordinance of the City of Norwalk on a statute of the State of Connecticut defining and punishing acts of prostitution, patronizing a prostitute, promoting prostitution or any other offense set forth in Chapter 952 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
- LOITERING
- Remaining idle in essentially one place, and shall include the concepts of spending time idly, loafing or walking about aimlessly.
- PUBLIC PLACE
- An area, either publicly owned or to which the public has access.
- SEXUAL ACTIVITY or SEXUAL CONDUCT
- Acts of prostitution, patronizing a prostitute or promoting prostitution as such acts are proscribed and defined by Chapter 952 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as these statutes hereafter shall be amended.
